Fruhlingsfest
Prost to Springtime!
Dust off the lederhosen and dirndls and celebrate the "little sister of Oktoberfest" in the vibrant city of Munich. Frühlingsfest, also known as "Spring Festival" is a joyful celebration to mark the end of winter and the beginning of springtime and fest season. Immerse yourself in ÃÜÌÒAVn culture as you indulge in German beer, traditional cuisine, and festival rides and activities.
The festivities kick off April 25 with the breweries and showmen make their way to fest grounds. Two beer tents will welcome you with bands playing traditional ÃÜÌÒAVn music and fest music favorites. Tradition continues as the largest flea market opens on Saturday, April 20th on fest grounds.
For all automobile lovers, the fest showcases an automobile parade on April 27. Highlighting luxurious cars and extravagant sleighs, the Classic Car Meeting is a sight to see as they drive vintage cars around fest grounds.
To showcase the traditional ÃÜÌÒAVn music and dances, Frühlingsfest hosts a day of ÃÜÌÒAVn customs. On May 4, ÃÜÌÒAVn traditional costume clubs will parade onto fest grounds with decorated horse-drawn carriages. Experience the rich cultural heritage of springtime celebrations through a display of traditional music and dance performances.
Bring the whole family and enjoy the wide array of carnival rides and delicious cuisines. Enjoy the mix of traditional and modern amusement park rides from bumper cars to ghost trains.
